The working principle of asset management positioning system

Where the UWB base station signal is covered, the uwb positioning tag bound to the fixed asset periodically sends out a signal. After the uwb positioning base station receives the signal of the uwb tag, it calculates and transmits the data to the positioning server. The positioning server determines the real-time location of the valuable asset equipment according to the time difference between the signals arriving at different uwb base stations. The positioning engine software shows the real-time location of fixed assets and displays them through electronic maps.UWB asset positioning accuracy is usually in the range of 10 cm to 30 cm.

(1)Wireless network management: Monitor the status of the Bluetooth gateway, receive data from the Bluetooth gateway, and after data analysis, the location server will calculate the location of the Bluetooth asset tag.

Scheme Description:

(1) Bluetooth beacon: The asset location beacon sends broadcast packets at intervals.

(2) Bluetooth gateway: Scan and collect the broadcast packets of the surrounding Bluetooth beacons, and transmit the MAC address, RSSI value, time, power and other information to the background server through 4G/5G/WiFi/Ethernet.

(3) The background server calculates the position of the Bluetooth beacon (Beacon) according to the RSSI value combined with the map.

According to the requirements of asset positioning, we calculate the existence (asset inventory) and approximate location of asset beacons. Since we marked the position of the reference beacon on the map in the background, the position of the asset beacon can be calculated by comparing the RSSI value of the obtained asset beacon with the RSSI value of the reference beacon. And send the information to the customer's management system through the API interface.

(4) The location of reference beacons and asset beacons can be obtained from the server through any mobile phone or display terminal, inventory of fixed assets, and real-time monitoring of fixed assets.

(3) The background server calculates the position of the Bluetooth beacon according to the RSSI value combined with the map.
