VDB01 is a Bluetooth Beacon device. It uses a broadcasting protocol which is based on BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy ). VDB01 broadcasts its general configure parameters like UUID, Major, Minor, RSSI etc. to surroundings over 37, 38 and 39 BLE channels continuously and non-directionally .

VDB01 is based on Lenze Tech Bluetooth 5.0 chip, ST17H65. It reserves an accelerometer and a temperature & humidity sensor(not mounted by default).

VDB01 is powered by a CR2477 button battery (replaceable). The battery life is related to the broadcast parameters. The standby time can be up to 2 years under the default configuration (500ms broadcast interval, 0dBm broadcast power). See the following table for details.
